Tiger ist raus
Ich bin schon sehr gespannt auf das Arnold Palmer Invitational. Auch ohne seinen Namensgeber ist das API noch ne echt große Nummer. Das sieht man auch am Teilnehmerfeld. Neben Titelverteidiger Rory McIlroy geht ein ganzer Schwung weiterer Topstars (z.B. Bryson, Mickel, Koepka, Poults, Rosey) im Bay Hill Club & Lodge bei Orlando an den Start. Ein ganz wichtiger Name fehlt jedoch. Tiger hat “Nacken” und musste das API, das er sage und schreibe 8 mal gewonnen hat, leider absagen. Ich hoffe der Kerl wird bis zum Masters fit!

Das mit Tiger Woods ist ein echter Downer, aber dafür gibt es im Vorfeld schon ein anderes, modisches Highlight. Rickie Fowler und sein Ausrüster sind mit einer Special API Collection am Start (zieht Euch das rein auf golfwrx.com) die in den USA auch noch für den guten Zweck genutzt wird. Das hat im letzten Jahr schon gut gezogen und wird es 2019 hoffentlich wieder tun.
No Tiger
I’m really looking forward to watch the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Even without its Host, the API is still a really big event. Just have a look at the field. In addition to defending champion Rory McIlroy, a whole bunch of other top stars (such as Bryson, Mickel, Koepka, Poults, Rosey) will tee it up at Bay Hill Club & Lodge in Orlando. However, one very important name is missing. Tiger Woods had to withdraw the tournament which he won a record breaking 8 times due to a neck injury. Oh, oh i hope he gets fit fpr the Masters folks!

Tiger not playing is a downer. Fortunately there will be at least another fashionable highlight at the API. Rickie Fowler and his outfitter will show another special API collection (check it out on golfwrx.com), which is also used in the US for a good cause. It has done very well last year and hopefully will do so again in 2019.
