Die PLAYERS ist gera­de einen Tag alt und schon gibt es jede Men­ge High­lights. Natür­lich kommt das Wich­tigs­te zuerst, das Slam Dunk Hole-in-One von Ryan Moo­re auf der 17. “Bist Du dep­pert” wür­de der Öster­rei­cher da sagen.

The first Round of THE PLAYERS is in the books and the­re is ple­nty of high­light mate­ri­al alre­a­dy. But first things first. Here we go with Ryan Moo­re’s Slam­dunk Hole-in-One on 17. Are you serious?

Doch die mun­te­re Golf­show im TPC Saw­grass war nicht vor­bei. Har­ris Eng­lish leg­te mit sei­nem Alba­tros (Dou­ble Eagle) auf Bahn 11 einen oben drauf.

Sta­tis­tisch gese­hen ist der Alba­tros, noch vor dem HIO der sel­tens­te Score im Golf. Bei der PLAYERS gab es in den letz­ten Jah­ren mit Rafa Cabre­ra Bel­lo (2017) und Brooks Koep­ka (2018) auf der 16 und nun mit Har­ris Eng­lish schon sat­te drei Spie­ler, denen die­ses Kunst­stück gelang.

But the high­light reel golf show at TPC Saw­grass was far from being over. Har­ris Eng­lish scored the rarest feat in Golf, an Alba­tross (dou­ble Eagle) on Hole 11.

Stran­ge enough this has­n’t been a rare inci­dent at THE PLAYERS in the last cou­ple of years. Rafa Cabre­ra Bel­lo (2017) and Brooks Koep­ka (2018) scored an Alba­tross on hole 16.

Zum Abschluss noch was zum Schmun­zeln. Seit letz­ter Sai­son ist Stim­men­imi­ta­tor Conor Moo­re vie­len ja schon ein Begriff. Es freut mich also beson­ders, dass er auch der PLAYERS einen Besuch abstat­tet. Bin sehr gespannt was da noch kommt.
