Gute Neuigkeiten
Good News
Halftime at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and they actually exist, positive news from the German camp. Martin Kaymer has made the cut and is well in the race with 3 under par on T17. But the big headlines belong to other players. For example, Francesco Molinari, who, like the American D.A. Points carded an ace on hole 7 (par 3) in his first round. I did not find any clip of the shot, but I a least found this.

Rickie hangs in there
Rickie Fowler was unstoppable fashionwise on the first two days. His golf game on the other hand, did not go that well. With 1 over par, he has just saved the weekend. Shots like this helped a lot.

Honoring the King
On top of the leaderboard are Keegan Bradley and Tommy “Tommy Tommy” Fleetwood at ‑9, with already 4 shots cushion on the field. I’m hoping for another good round from Francesco on Saturday so maybe he and Tommy play the final round as team Moliwood together. That would be pretty cool I think? In honor of Arnold Palmer, a large number of players have been sporting his famous umbrella. A nice gesture, which shows the King’s Impact on the sport.
