Gut, der Pau­le hat schon im ver­gan­ge­nen Jahr auf dem Cop­per­head Cour­se des Innis­brook Resorts stark ausgesehen.

Aber 3 Mal in Fol­ge Euro­pa ganz vor­ne, so etwas gab es zuletzt sel­ten. Ich freue mich jeden­falls über den euro­päi­schen Auf­schwung, der bestimmt auch mit den Plät­zen zu tun hat. Ist Shot­ma­king gefragt, kann “Team Euro­pe” sei­ne Stär­ken aus­spie­len. Der Bun­ker­schlag von Paul an der 18 (anbei die High­lights von der Final­run­de) zeigt dies ein­mal mehr. Beson­ders freut mich auch das klei­ne Come­back von Luke Donald. Ich kann die nächs­ten Tur­nie­re kaum erwarten.

But it’s been a long time, sin­ce Euro­pe won three important tour­na­ments in a row. I am real­ly hap­py about the qua­li­ty Euro­pean Golf has to offer at the moment. And I am pret­ty sure it has to do with how the cour­ses the pros play at the moment are set up. If shot­ma­king is requi­red, Team Euro­pe can show its strengths. The bun­ker shot by Paul at the 18th hole (check it out in the high­lights of the final round) is the per­fect example.
I am also very hap­py to see Mr. Luke Donald on the come­back trail. It’s get­ting bet­ter and better.

Aus dem Sen­sa­ti­ons­sieg vom Stra­ka Sepp ist ja lei­der nichts gewor­den. T46 ist für den Öster­rei­cher aber immer noch bes­ser, als der Auf­tritt der rot-weiß-roten Fuss­ball­elf in Israel. 🙈

Is a litt­le bit of a dow­ner that Sepp Stra­ka did­n’t pull off a bet­ter result in Innis­brook. On the other hand his T46 finish is way bet­ter than the show­ing of the Aus­tri­an soc­cer team in Israel. 🙈
